Senior QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain automated UI tests for both web and mobile applications.

• Conduct exploratory and manual testing to ensure the validation of new features, edge cases, and customer journeys.

• Work in close collaboration with frontend and mobile engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Analyze product requirements and detect quality risks at the early stages of development.

• Investigate defects and collaborate with engineers to efficiently resolve issues.

• Contribute to the enhancement of automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and best practices in quality engineering.

• Assist in improving test coverage, boosting release confidence, and elevating overall product quality.

• Utilize AI tools such as Cursor, Codex, Claude Code, and MCP integrations to enhance engineering productivity and testing quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in creating automated UI tests using Playwright or comparable automation frameworks.

• Background in testing web and mobile applications, including Android and/or iOS using tools like Appium, Maestro, and Espresso.

• Solid understanding of automation along with exploratory and manual testing methodologies.

• Familiarity with contemporary frontend technologies and testing for customer-facing applications.

• Experience in working with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing in engineering teams.

• Strong troubleshooting abilities with a knack for investigating complex UI issues.

• Proven track record of collaborating closely with software engineers in Agile settings.

• Excellent communication skills paired with a commitment to delivering high-quality user experiences.
