Quality Analyst – Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Interpret requirements and create quality control and user acceptance testing plans.

• Assess, suggest, and implement automated testing tools and strategies.

• Design, execute, and conduct testing and evaluation procedures to ensure adherence to system requirements.

• Develop, maintain, and upgrade automated test scripts and frameworks for application products.

• Document, implement, and communicate the status of system test cases.

• Analyze test cases and provide consistent progress reports.

• Act as a subject matter expert supporting user requirements for software/hardware applications ranging from complex to highly complex.

• Lead and/or engage in risk management assessments and software/hardware development, focusing on user requirements analysis, test design, and test tool selection.

• Provide support to the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) in the role of Quality Analyst.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

• Proficiency in Java application testing.

• Familiarity with Selenium, Cucumber, and FitNesse.

• Solid foundation in performance testing using JMeter/LoadRunner.

• Experience with automated testing processes, 508 accessibility testing, functional testing, integration testing, full regression testing, and cybersecurity testing.

• Basic knowledge of Java coding.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as software engineering, engineering, or computer science.

• Must be a US citizen.

• Strong communication skills.

• Experience in Appian application testing.

• Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite.
