Senior QA Analyst – Test Automation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop strategies, plans, and scenarios for automated testing processes.

• Create and maintain test automation for web-based applications.

• Conduct functional, integration, exploratory, and regression testing.

• Document evidence, results, and discrepancies found during validation.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of QA processes, practices, and tools.

• Work closely with development teams to pinpoint and address quality risks.

• Examine defects and assist in root cause analysis.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies such as Planning, Daily Stand-up, Review, and Retrospective.

• Act as a technical resource for quality practices and test automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of software testing methodologies and quality assurance practices.

• Proficient in web application testing with practical experience.

• Understanding of integration testing techniques.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

• Experience in test automation using Playwright, Cucumber, and/or SpecFlow.

• Knowledge of Docker technology.

• Proficient in SQL (Transact-SQL).

• Strong understanding of programming languages utilized for test automation.

• Intermediate skills in CI/CD processes.

• Intermediate understanding of cloud computing concepts.

• Intermediate experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools.

• Intermediate knowledge of non-relational databases.

• Intermediate understanding of security principles and quality-related validations in software development.

• Familiarity with performance and load testing is a plus.

• Awareness of the OWASP Top 10 is advantageous.

• Experience with Docker in automated testing setups is desirable.

• Skills in log analysis and reading are beneficial.

• Understanding of application observability is a plus.

• Experience with automation in complex environments and systems is a plus.

• Knowledge of Design Sprint and prototyping is advantageous.

• Familiarity with usability testing is desirable.

• Understanding of unit testing strategies is beneficial.

• Possess a collaborative and analytical mindset.

• Ability to work independently in Agile settings.
