Intelligent Automation Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design, construction, testing, and deployment of cutting-edge automation solutions across the regions of Intermountain Health.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, project teams, business stakeholders, and clinical partners to deliver scalable, outcome-oriented products.

• Design, develop, document, and test straightforward solutions.

• Collaborate with senior team members on more intricate solutions.

• Develop and configure stable, reusable software components.

• Create and launch responsible, reliable, and secure products.

• Coordinate with external service providers and third parties to address integration challenges and issues.

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and implement software code.

• Build solutions, workflows, and user interfaces.

• Manage assigned tickets and queues; resolve issues and identify trends.

• Participate in implementations, including installation, configuration, customization, integration, and data migration.

• Produce design and technical specification documents for IT projects and products.

• Utilize programming and scripting skills.

• Implement continuous process improvement principles and methodologies.

• Adhere to the software/automation development life cycle.

• Provide support and maintenance for existing applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven technical experience in software development, technical analysis, data analysis, business systems administration, quality assurance, testing, or a related field.

• Familiarity with industry software tools.

• Experience in creating design and technical specification documents for IT projects and products.

• Preferred bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.

• Preferred at least one year of relevant technical experience.

• Knowledge of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and AI Agent development.

• Experience with Power Platform and Power Apps.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio.

• Beneficial experience with Databricks, Python, or other automation and agentic AI systems.

• Experience with Salesforce Cloud and APEX configuration/customization.

• Proficient in Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Power Automate, Blue Prism, Pega, Alteryx, Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services, JSON, Postman, Auto Hot Key, SQL, HTML/CSS, XML, Microsoft Office, Copilots, and digital assistants.

• Experience with Salesforce Process Builder, Flow, and Assignment Rules.

• Reporting and analytics experience with Tableau, Discern Visual, Cognos, or Power BI.

• Relevant automation certifications are advantageous, including Automation Anywhere Certified Advanced RPA Professional, Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals, or UiPath Certified Professional.

• Competence in using variables, databases, arrays, and/or data frames for automation.

• Capability to configure and utilize APIs and web services.

• Practical understanding of enterprise architecture.

• Knowledge of security protocols, network configuration, database provisioning, and server frameworks.

• Proficiency in AI/machine learning, including LLMs, natural language processing, predictive AI models, categorization models, or deep neural networks.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to operate computers and office equipment.

• Ability to read computer monitors and documents.

• Capability to remain seated or standing for extended periods.

• May require lifting and transporting objects and office supplies, as well as bending, kneeling, and reaching.

• Availability during general office hours between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM MT.

• Must not reside or plan to reside in California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, or Washington.
