Senior Python-Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, test, and deploy software solutions utilizing Python and Java.

• Work alongside cross-disciplinary teams to conceptualize, design, and launch new features and products.

• Enhance and optimize the performance of current applications.

• Detect and resolve bugs and performance challenges.

• Actively engage in code reviews to uphold code quality.

• Document procedures and outcomes, aiding in the maintenance of team knowledge.

• Serve as a Senior/Master developer, contributing to technology modernization and AI-driven software delivery for a worldwide financial services organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in Python development (at least 3 years), including frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

• Proven experience in Java development (minimum of 1 year), covering microservices, containerization, APIs, Swagger, and IAM integrations (OAuth, OpenID, SAML).

• Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB).

• Knowledge of version control systems (Git).

• Competence in writing automated tests and experience with TDD/BDD methodologies.

• Understanding of RESTful APIs and their integration with third-party services.

• Experience with agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).

• Ability to tackle complex problems and work autonomously.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Proficiency in English.

• Preferred: familiarity with AI/Machine Learning using PyTorch, TensorFlow, or LangChain.

• Preferred: background in DevOps and CI/CD practices.

• Preferred: knowledge of additional programming languages such as JavaScript or Go.

• Preferred: experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
