Senior Python Fullstack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Enhance and support current platforms

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while effectively prioritizing tasks

• Design and develop solutions, providing technical direction throughout the development lifecycle

• Create precise time estimates for assignments and coordinate with engineering management and team leaders on task prioritization and scheduling

• Contribute technical expertise and insights to your team during the planning, design, and requirements phases for new products and features

• As a Senior team member, you are expected to actively engage in our recruitment efforts by participating on interview panels for prospective roles across the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in writing production-ready code, conducting code reviews, and working on the full stack design and architecture of applications

• Outstanding capability to produce production-ready code and develop scalable data flows

• Willingness to excel and communicate with your team while collaborating with others in a dynamic environment

• Proven track record of owning projects, managing migrations, and leading initiatives

• Enthusiasm, passion, and curiosity about our mission to connect global health data and enhance patient outcomes

• Profound expertise in Python

• Experience with multi-cloud environments, particularly AWS

• Familiarity with tools: GitHub for code management, Datadog for observability, and Slack for communication

• This role goes beyond merely resolving tickets; it focuses on delivering value and assisting clients in achieving their business goals

• Strong understanding of system design, design patterns, data structures, and fundamental algorithms

• Excellent proficiency in REST API design and implementation

• Practical experience with unit and integration testing

• Exceptional communication skills, ability to onboard and mentor junior team members, and a keen attention to detail

• Proficiency in English

• Capability to work with high-level guidance and direction and to navigate some ambiguity

• Experience with Java, Kafka, SQL, Cassandra, Redis, and AWS is a plus

• Familiarity with Stored Procedures for efficient database operations
