Senior Python Engineer, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Design and develop backend services for the processing and organization of financial and rights data, including compositions, writers, royalties, and payments.

• Construct and manage data pipelines utilizing Snowflake and DBT, including views, caching, and snapshots.

• Create full-stack features using React and TypeScript for the frontend, constituting approximately 30% of the workload.

• Partner with the accounting team to comprehend data flows and convert manual processes into automated solutions.

• Independently clarify requirements and create proofs of concept to confirm functionality.

• Take ownership of features from inception to production in a greenfield setting with a dynamic roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 8 years of experience in backend development, with proficiency in Python being essential.

• Experience with React and TypeScript for frontend development.

• Familiarity with AWS services (such as Lambda and S3) and Terraform.

• Experience with Snowflake or a similar data warehousing solution.

• Knowledge of DBT or equivalent data transformation tools.

• Strong grasp of data modeling and pipeline architecture.

• Background in fintech, music/media, or royalties/rights management sectors.

• Understanding of financial data processing and reporting.

• Experience in building solutions in greenfield or 0-to-1 environments.
