Senior Python Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Croatia.

📋 Description

• Create impactful, real-time clinical workflow solutions tailored for inpatient care environments.

• Design and sustain a robust backend architecture utilizing Python.

• Lead the development of scalable services, API integrations, and essential platform functionalities.

• Construct data pipelines that facilitate seamless operations within modern healthcare facilities.

• Design, develop, and uphold intricate products.

• Engineer and execute integrations with various applications and services.

• Ensure code quality, organization, automation, performance, maintainability, and operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with engineers to conduct code reviews.

• Identify and refine detailed requirements in conjunction with the team.

• Assist in Scrum/Agile practices including sprints, standups, retrospectives, planning, pointing, and grooming sessions.

• Engage in the hiring process by participating in interview panels.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional programming experience with Python.

• Strong skills in Object Oriented design and development.

• Proficient understanding of programming patterns.

• Familiarity with AWS.

• Experience in working with databases (Postgres) and optimizing queries.

• Proficient in API design (REST API, OpenAPI).

• Experience in developing scalable systems.

• Solid understanding of security/access control, scalability, high availability, and concurrency patterns.

• Code management experience using GIT.

• Experience collaborating within Scrum teams.

• Upper Intermediate proficiency in spoken and written English.

• Legal authorization to work in the country of residence, validated by documentation.

• As a Senior team member, a readiness to actively engage in hiring processes and participate in interview panels.

• Experience in healthcare or clinical software is a significant advantage.
