Senior Python Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend microservices based on Python.

• Create and integrate REST APIs, including authentication, RBAC, and third-party integrations.

• Contribute to the integration of real-time voice pipelines, including SIP, WebRTC, and LiveKit.

• Develop connections with external systems such as Zoho CRM and Google/Microsoft Calendar.

• Deploy and manage services on AWS, utilizing ECS, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager, and S3.

• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket Pipelines.

• Containerize applications using Docker and Docker Compose.

• Collaborate with AI, front-end, and DevOps teams; engage in code reviews and release processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in backend engineering.

• Strong command of Python, with practical experience in designing and maintaining microservices architectures.

• Extensive experience in building and consuming REST APIs.

• Practical knowledge of AWS services, including ECS, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager, and S3.

• Experience with containerized applications using Docker and Docker Compose.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and delivery workflows, particularly with Bitbucket Pipelines or similar tools.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to work within distributed, complex environments.

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to create clear technical documentation and effectively collaborate in cross-functional teams.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum settings, participating in code reviews, design discussions, and release cycles.

• Nice to have:

• Experience with real-time voice and telephony systems like SIP, WebRTC, or LiveKit.

• Exposure to conversational voice platforms or AI/LLM (prior experience with Nova Sonic is not mandatory).

• Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS architecture.

• Knowledge of Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Experience in performance and latency optimization for real-time systems.

• Background in third-party integrations, including CRM systems, calendars, and external APIs.
