
Senior Python Backend Developer β Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
β’ Backend Architecture & API Design: Design, construct, and sustain highly scalable and secure backend services and APIs utilizing Python web frameworks (preferably Django).
β’ Computer Vision Integration: Embed CV models and pipelines into primary backend workflows, optimizing for speed, memory utilization, and throughput.
β’ Database & Data Modeling: Create, query, and enhance relational SQL databases to guarantee quick query performance, data integrity, and high availability.
β’ Cloud Infrastructure (AWS): Deploy, scale, and oversee backend services on AWS, ensuring secure deployment pipelines and efficient resource management.
β’ Collaboration & Quality: Spearhead technical design discussions, produce clean and thoroughly tested code, perform code reviews, and mentor junior and mid-level team members.
β’ MLOps Integration (Advantage): Contribute to the optimization of ML model deployment, tracking, monitoring, and pipeline automation to connect AI research with production backend code.
β’ Experience: Over 10 years of professional software development experience with demonstrated expertise in Python.
β’ Backend Development: Practical experience in creating backend services using Python and deploying computer vision models within those services.
β’ Web Frameworks: Strong proficiency in Django (preferred) or other contemporary Python web frameworks (FastAPI, Flask) for developing intricate web services and RESTful APIs.
β’ Database Management: Robust fluency with SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL), encompassing schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
β’ Cloud Platforms: Practical experience in deploying and managing backend application architectures on AWS.
β’ Computer Vision: Hands-on experience with Computer Vision frameworks (e.g., OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, PIL).
β’ Software Engineering Best Practices: Experience in applying object-oriented or functional programming principles in Python, clean architecture, unit testing/integration testing, CI/CD pipelines, and Git workflows.
β’ Technical Leadership: Proven experience in leading technical design discussions, conducting code reviews, and managing a software engineering team.
