📋 Description

• Join our team in London as a Senior Propulsion Engineer.

• Lead the design, analysis, and optimization of cutting-edge propulsion systems for future space missions.

• Take ownership of the architecture, modeling, and performance assessment of both chemical and electric propulsion systems.

• Mentor multidisciplinary teams, evaluate critical designs, and ensure technical consistency across propulsion initiatives.

• Establish test plans, assist with integration, and spearhead performance verification campaigns.

• Supervise external partners delivering propulsion hardware and guarantee adherence to requirements.

• Offer propulsion expertise for mission analysis, system trade-offs, and operational readiness.


⛳️ Requirements

• Required space experience — Demonstrated expertise in spacecraft propulsion or closely related space systems.

• Proficiency in propulsion analysis — Strong skills in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and system modeling.

• Space hardware lifecycle experience — Practical involvement from concept design through qualification and flight.

• Required qualifications: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.

• Experience in thruster development — Familiarity with electric propulsion, cold-gas systems, or green propellants.

• System-level integration skills — Capability to collaborate across GNC, structures, avionics, and mission operations.

• Advanced modeling tools knowledge — Expertise in CFD, thermal-fluid simulation, or multi-physics modeling.

• Hands-on test operations experience — Comfort with vacuum chamber testing, leak checks, and performance characterization.

• Background in new-space environments — Experience in rapid development cycles, rapid prototyping, or on-orbit servicing missions.

• Technical communication skills — Ability to effectively present propulsion concepts to internal and external stakeholders.
