Senior Proposal Manager – Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversee the proposal development process from the pre-RFP stage through to post-submission activities.

• Perform a thorough analysis of RFP requirements and create compliant proposal outlines and timelines.

• Manage all aspects of proposal development, including reviews, to guarantee the timely submission of high-quality proposals.

• Co-facilitate kick-off meetings and proposal planning sessions to set clear goals, responsibilities, and schedules.

• Collaborate with technical subject matter experts to ensure technical precision and the integration of both technical and commercial solutions into proposal narratives.

• Delegate tasks to team members, track progress, and offer guidance to ensure compliance with proposal schedules and requirements.

• Conduct regular proposal evaluations and revisions; may engage in negotiations with clients to ensure the deals provide shareholder value and promote competitive pricing.

• Analyze internal and external business challenges and suggest best practices to enhance products, processes, or services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university.

• 5 years of experience in Sales and/or Proposals, encompassing both commercial and government sectors, OR 3 years of experience in Program Management, Engineering Project Management, Risk Management, Customer Account Management, or Contract Management.

• 1 year of experience with Lean practices and tools.

• Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.

• Strong familiarity with Salesforce, Oracle, and export control is a plus.
