This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Oversee and coordinate the proposal creation process from inception to completion, ensuring all components are fully developed, properly formatted, and submitted punctually.
• Assist the proposal team by reviewing and refining draft materials.
• Maintain consistent proposal response formats and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local government regulations.
• Confirm that all required documents, including forms and certifications, are accurately filled out and submitted.
• Create and manage the proposal kickoff presentation, aligning teams with the strategic approach, timelines, and significant milestones.
• Ensure that the proposal color calendar is regularly updated and acts as a primary planning resource throughout the proposal lifecycle.
• Aid in the development and upkeep of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to segment the proposal process into achievable tasks.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as technical writers, subject matter experts, and graphic designers, to gather essential information for the proposal.
• Prepare and deliver consistent proposal updates to leadership, including insights on pipeline metrics, win/loss analysis, and strategic perspectives.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in proposal coordination or management, demonstrating a successful history of supporting effective proposal submissions.
• Knowledge of government RFP processes and compliance requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience in developing and managing proposal kickoff presentations, color calendars, and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
• Familiarity with proposal development frameworks such as Shipley or APMP.
• Exceptional organizational abilities and the capacity to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
• APMP Foundation-level Certification is preferred.
