This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
• Develop the proposals function from inception—designing workflows, creating a governance model, establishing content systems, and assembling team members.
• Create scalable and efficient proposal processes that embody our value of urgency while maintaining excellence.
• Oversee the comprehensive development of proposals that are aligned with our brand, focused on the customer, and strategically designed to secure business (from initiation to completion).
• Work collaboratively across departments with Sales, Sales Operations, Legal, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create impactful proposals that consistently reflect our messaging and deliver customer value.
• Write, edit, and enhance proposal content, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with our brand mission of providing exceptional experiences.
• Manage a dynamic content library that includes reusable proposal components, product messaging, visuals, and success stories from customers.
• Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as response times and content utilization to continuously enhance performance, promote a positive environment, and demonstrate strategic impact.
• Advocate for the proposal function as a strategic marketing tool that closely aligns with brand, sales, and marketing to understand your audience and deliver customized value.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Over 7 years of experience in proposal development or similar marketing roles; experience in leading or building a team is highly preferred.
• Proven track record of establishing and optimizing proposal processes, content systems, and team workflows.
• Exceptional writing and editing abilities, with a knack for persuasive storytelling and a customer-centric approach.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, capable of balancing multiple priorities and making decisive actions.
• Experience in B2B marketing, sales enablement, or industries that heavily rely on RFPs is advantageous.
• Familiarity with marketing collaboration tools and proposal management platforms.
