Senior Proposal Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete proposal development process, guaranteeing full compliance, timely submission, and alignment with strategic business goals.

• Collaborate with Solutions and Capture teams to develop customer-centric messaging and cohesive win themes throughout proposal documents.

• Direct proposal operations, which include kickoff meetings, daily stand-ups, and milestone assessments.

• Take ownership of proposal structure through compliant outlines, templates, compliance matrices, and quality control measures.

• Coordinate color reviews and perform final quality assurance checks.

• Handle final production, submission, and follow-up after submission.

• Keep proposal assets and knowledge repository up to date.

• Carry out strategic responsibilities that support business development and growth initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Demonstrated success in facilitating small business growth in federal contracting and managing proposals exceeding $5M.

• Over 5 years of experience in proposal management for federal, state, or local opportunities.

• Familiarity with compliance standards, writing/editing, color reviews, and final submission processes.

• Outstanding time management and organizational capabilities, including the ability to juggle multiple priorities and tight deadlines.

• Knowledge and expertise in enhancing proposal quality, optimizing evaluation scores, and contributing to improved win rates.

• Proficiency in Shipley methodologies and recognized industry best practices.

• Excellent written and verbal communication, editing, and interpersonal abilities.

• Familiarity with GovWinIQ, eBuy, SAM.gov, and FPDS.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, desktop publishing, and AI tools.

• Experience in developing oral presentations is preferred.

• Enthusiasm for learning about new and emerging technology trends is preferred.
