Proposal Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct the comprehensive proposal and tendering processes for EPC projects within the Water & Wastewater Treatment, Oil & Gas, and Municipal sectors.

• Assess RFPs, RFQs, and tender documentation to formulate successful proposal strategies.

• Review and finalize the technical and commercial proposals crafted by proposal engineers.

• Ensure that proposals align with client specifications and the capabilities of the company.

• Collaborate with design, engineering, procurement, project management, and sales teams to gather proposal inputs.

• Establish proposal timelines, deliverables, and responsibilities through structured proposal management frameworks.

• Conduct high-level technical evaluations of process designs, PFDs, P&IDs, BOQs, and cost estimations.

• Offer strategic insights for bid/no-bid determinations alongside business development and executive teams.

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to enhance competitive positioning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering (or equivalent).

• At least 15 years of experience in technical proposal development, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.

• Demonstrated experience in leading substantial proposals for water and wastewater treatment projects, particularly EPC contracts in the Oil & Gas sector.

• Strong comprehension of process engineering, system design, budgeting, equipment selection, and costing.

• Extensive knowledge of industry standards and regulatory compliance requirements in the Middle East.

• Outstanding project planning, coordination, and team leadership abilities.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills for interaction with clients and senior stakeholders.

• Proficient in proposal software, MS Office, AutoCAD, and design tools for hydraulic and process calculations.

• Familiarity with costing in the UAE and GCC markets.

• Knowledge of SWRO (Seawater Reverse Osmosis).
