This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Develop schedules and milestones for concurrent bids while ensuring compliance with deadlines.
• Create frameworks to produce engaging, innovative, and compliant proposals.
• Generate proposal materials including matrices, charts, graphs, executive summaries, and management strategies.
• Monitor Q&A processes; analyze and document changes, then communicate these adjustments with the bidding team.
• Guarantee timely updates of past performance/resumes in coordination with relevant team members.
• Organize proposal kickoff, color review, and lessons learned meetings; ensure all action items and comments are addressed.
• Review draft materials to ensure coherence, consistency, and compliance of proposal content.
• Assist in desktop publishing to finalize proposal documents.
• Collaborate with graphic designers to produce visually appealing bids that adhere to corporate standards.
• Provide quality assurance and feedback on process or procedural enhancements within the department and across functions.
• Aid in identifying requirements for and/or managing strategic library content.
• Ensure compliance with established standards and templates to maintain a uniform appearance/style in proposal responses.
• Utilize the existing proposal response library to effectively address recurring content queries and create customized RFx responses.
• Minimum of three years of experience in writing and coordinating federal government proposals or grants.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint applications.
• Strong editorial and proofreading abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Capability to research, interpret, and analyze RFx requirements.
