Senior Project Manager – Steam Power – Nuclear

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and guide projects from initial concept to final delivery, including conducting project feedback reviews at appropriate intervals with the customer.

• Oversee the development and management of project costs, including ongoing estimates until project completion.

• Plan and manage project schedules and payment milestones, while implementing contingency plans as necessary to ensure timely delivery.

• Manage the contractual scope of the project, keeping all stakeholders informed throughout the process.

• Identify and mitigate risks and opportunities, ensuring all issues are addressed effectively.

• Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, both internal and external, while fostering strong relationships with customers, peers, Engineering, and global teams.

• This role is expected to serve as the focal point for project-related activities and perform additional related duties as assigned or requested.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant project management experience in the power generation or industrial manufacturing sector.

• Capability to obtain unescorted access to a Nuclear power facility in Canada or the U.S.

• Willingness to travel up to 30% annually, both domestically and internationally.

• Must be able to secure and maintain a valid passport.

• Availability to work on-site at customer locations as needed.

• Possession of P. Eng. Certification.

• PMP Certification is required.

• Experience with Steam Power systems in Nuclear, Fossil, or Industrial power plant environments.

• Practical knowledge of GE Vernova products is advantageous but not essential.

• Adaptability to evolving technology.

• Strong attention to detail and effective time management skills to meet deadlines.

• Excellent facilitation and presentation abilities for both technical and business audiences.
