Project Manager, Senior Living – CapEx

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the continuous management of construction projects within the portfolio.

• Collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and contractors to obtain proposals, assess them, and provide recommendations for selection.

• Direct the execution process and coordinate stakeholders (operator, designer, consultants) on significant investment projects, both front and back of house.

• Partner with CapEx consultants to ensure the accuracy of project timelines and expenditures.

• Conduct weekly or bi-weekly internal update calls.

• Participate in weekly calls with Owners, Architects, and Designers regarding all major investment projects.

• Identify general contractors, create bid forms, solicit bids, prepare comparisons, and recommend selections.

• Conduct weekly site visits as feasible, based on project scope and status.

• Collaborate with the team to develop investment strategies for new acquisitions and NNN transitions.

• Facilitate communication and coordination with design and construction teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, real estate, or a related discipline.

• More than 5 years of experience in project management within real estate, construction, or development.

• Willingness to travel frequently in support of capital projects across the U.S. and Canada, averaging 2–3 overnight stays per week.

• Experience with an owner/developer, general contractor, or a related entity—preferably within the healthcare sector.

• Knowledge of senior housing, hospitals, nursing facilities, and congregate care is preferred.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make independent decisions.

• Capable of managing deadlines, juggling multiple tasks, and adapting to shifting priorities in a fast-paced, lean environment.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.
