This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take full ownership of software implementation delivery, beginning with initial client discussions and continuing through to go-live and transition to operations.
• Facilitate steering committee meetings, executive status updates, and decision-making sessions.
• Provide insights, identify risks, and obtain approval for key decisions.
• Oversee configuration, data, QA, development, and integration workstreams.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding concerns, changes in scope, and project updates.
• Proactively handle risks, dependencies, scenarios, timelines, and recommendations.
• Manage the scope, schedule, budget, and quality of projects.
• Lead change management efforts, control scope, and track financials.
• Strategically plan and optimize resource allocation across various workstreams.
• Advocate for PMO standards and best practices in delivery.
• Mentor junior project managers and coordinators.
• Leverage AI and automation for executive dashboards, risk trend analysis, dependency mapping, and forecasting delivery.
• Over 5 years of project management experience in delivering complex Defined Benefit pension implementation projects from start to finish.
• Expertise in client-facing software implementation delivery, involving multiple workstreams and senior stakeholders.
• Comprehensive understanding of pension administration processes, challenges, and technology landscapes.
• Executive-level communication skills and stakeholder management experience with C-suite clients and senior leaders.
• Proficient in risk management, financial oversight, and change control for large-scale initiatives.
• Experience in leading governance forums and steering committees with senior client stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead integrated, multi-disciplinary teams across configuration, data, QA, product, development, and integration functions.
• Practical experience in applying generative AI, copilots, or automation to enhance delivery insights, governance, and decision-making support.
• Knowledge of responsible AI practices, including data privacy, security, and enterprise-approved tools.
• Capability to identify and advocate for practical AI applications.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French is preferred.
• PMP or a similar project management certification is preferred.
• Experience with SaaS platforms, data migration, and system integrations is preferred.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms is preferred.
