Senior Project Manager / Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of delivery governance from the initial kickoff through the go/no-go decision gate and handoff.

• Facilitate the 2-week sprint cycle, including ceremonies such as planning, review, retrospective, and daily stand-ups, while maintaining the delivery rhythm across all phases.

• Manage the RAID log, milestone tracker, and risk register; proactively identify and escalate any blockers.

• Act as the main coordination point between the Software Mind delivery team and client stakeholders.

• Monitor and enforce scope boundaries; initiate change management procedures when there are impacts to timeline, cost, or risk.

• Prepare go/no-go decision-support packages, including pilot accuracy reports.

• Ensure that integration assumptions are validated and documented prior to the commencement of implementation phases.

• Align team allocation and efforts according to the evolving complexity and delivery risks throughout the engagement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in project or delivery management in software engineering initiatives.

• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) along with practical experience in facilitating Scrum/Kanban.

• Proven track record in managing outcome-based projects with milestone-driven acceptance criteria.

• Strong client-facing delivery experience, with the confidence to manage relationships across various stakeholder groups.

• Experience in managing projects that involve data governance, compliance, or regulated data components.

• Exceptional written and spoken English, as daily client interaction is a fundamental aspect of this role.
