Scrum Master – SAFe

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Facilitate collaboration, leadership, and coaching to support the Scrum Team and the Scrum process.

• Lead sprint planning sessions, daily stand-ups, feedback meetings, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Guide the Scrum Team in recognizing the importance of well-defined and concise Backlog items.

• Assist the Team in developing high-value products.

• Oversee defect triage and support the Product Owner in prioritization efforts.

• Manage dependencies and collaborate across teams through Nexus scrums, including leading decision-making processes with other teams and members.

• Coordinate releases while embodying a Lean-Agile Mindset through Servant Leadership.

• Display Lean-Agile leadership by guiding the organization in adopting Scrum practices.

• Advocate for and mentor others in the Agile software development methodology.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-7 years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master with a strong understanding of Agile values and principles.

• Proficient in agile methodologies, values, processes, and the development lifecycle.

• Collaborate with Product Owners to grasp key business objectives and strategies, develop the backlog, and prioritize stories.

• Conduct sprint planning, daily stand-ups, remove obstacles, and facilitate reviews, retrospectives, and demos.

• Capable of identifying cross-team dependencies and aligning work effectively.

• Monitor team performance using relevant metrics and promote the adoption of a high-performing Agile culture in partnership with the leadership team.

• Preference for candidates with experience in the healthcare domain (Medicaid).

• Comprehensive knowledge of Agile and SAFe/Nexus Principles and their application in workplace culture.

• Act as a mentor to impart Agile knowledge and experience to the team, with a focus on identifying cross-team dependencies and aligning work efficiently.

• Establish new Agile teams and facilitate their formation and effectiveness.
