Senior Project Manager – Professional Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete delivery process of intricate, simultaneous, enterprise-level customer projects from initiation to completion.

• Prepare enterprise clients for implementation by establishing success criteria, monitoring deliverables, setting targets, managing resources, and ensuring that execution aligns with deadlines and budget constraints.

• Identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks and technical dependencies.

• Act as the primary point of contact and escalation for customer executives, internal Engineering, Customer Support, Sales, Technical Account Manager teams, and third-party partners.

• Implement quality control measures throughout project lifecycles to adhere to Rubrik standards and meet customer business goals.

• Develop, enhance, and uphold PMO governance frameworks, standard operating procedures, project methodologies, and key performance indicators in collaboration with PS leadership.

• Review project workflows and delivery tools to pinpoint bottlenecks and enhance operational efficiency, margins, and customer satisfaction.

• Establish best practices for resource allocation, utilization tracking, and project health reporting across the Professional Services portfolio.

• Mentor associate and mid-level Project Managers on client management, conflict resolution, scope management, and career development.

• Share best practices, templates, and lessons learned to promote continuous learning and high performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of direct Project Management experience in delivering customer-facing, enterprise technical projects within a Professional Services or Consulting environment.

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.

• Demonstrated experience in developing or scaling PMO governance models supported by AI, standard delivery methodologies, and project health tracking processes.

• Proven ability to manage multiple complex, high-visibility client engagements simultaneously in a fast-paced technology setting.

• Experience in mentoring, coaching, and developing junior to mid-level project managers.

• Expert proficiency in contemporary project management tools, including Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, and Asana, as well as Google Workspace.

• Outstanding skills in executive communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution.

• Previous hands-on experience or foundational knowledge in Data Management, Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), Data Protection, Enterprise Storage, Cybersecurity, or SaaS delivery is highly advantageous.

• Additional certifications such as Agile/Scrum (CSM, PMI-ACP), ITIL, or Prosci Change Management are preferred.

• Strong financial acumen regarding professional services metrics, including revenue recognition, margin, utilization, and project profitability.
