Senior Project Manager, IT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the comprehensive delivery of intricate IT and digital transformation initiatives, which encompass cloud migrations, infrastructure enhancements, software deployments, and enterprise platforms.

• Establish project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and criteria for success.

• Create and uphold project plans, RAID logs, schedules, governance documentation, and status reports.

• Oversee project resources and cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery outcomes.

• Guarantee effective project closure and transition to operational management.

• Serve as the main liaison for project stakeholders and executive sponsors.

• Promote collaboration among business and technical teams.

• Provide updates to leadership and governance committees.

• Convert technical concepts into business-oriented outcomes and advantages.

• Ensure adherence to PMO standards, governance frameworks, security protocols, and regulatory obligations.

• Identify, evaluate, and address project risks and challenges.

• Maintain project documentation, reporting, dashboards, and performance indicators.

• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.

• Monitor project spending against authorized business cases.

• Supervise vendor relationships, contracts, Statements of Work, and supplier performance.

• Track benefits realization and value delivery throughout the project lifecycle.

• Lead and inspire diverse global project teams.

• Mentor junior project managers and assist in PMO capability enhancement.

• Advocate for continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and lessons learned.

• Cultivate accountability, collaboration, and high performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in delivering complex IT projects and digital transformation initiatives.

• Proven history of managing multiple simultaneous projects in global settings.

• Strong comprehension of software development, IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and contemporary delivery methodologies.

• Demonstrated capacity to manage senior stakeholders and influence decision-making processes.

• Experience in leading geographically distributed teams and collaborating with external vendors.

• Robust project planning, governance, and risk management skills.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

• Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to remain composed and effective in high-pressure situations.

• Results-oriented focus on measurable business outcomes.

• Strong understanding of organizational change and its implications for business operations.

• PRINCE2, Agile, PMP, or equivalent project management certification is preferred.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office tools is preferred.

• Experience in enterprise PMO environments is preferred.
