This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Act as the main liaison between the sponsor and the organization at the project level.
• Ensure that escalation protocols are followed both internally and externally.
• Define clear roles and communication channels for secondary project leads as necessary.
• Take the lead in driving comprehensive cross-functional project delivery regarding time, budget, and quality.
• Oversee project-level financial management, which includes understanding contracts, aligning resources, managing out-of-scope activities, adapting change processes, negotiations, and timelines.
• Set, communicate, and manage customer expectations effectively.
• Facilitate risk identification and resolution of issues at the project level.
• Guarantee adherence to organization policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP, regulatory requirements, and project-specific obligations.
• Provide mentorship to team members.
• Contribute to or develop initiatives aimed at process improvement.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant formal academic or vocational qualification.
• Over 8 years of relevant and comparable experience.
• Proven experience in clinical trial project management, specifically with eCOA systems and Rater Training/Readiness.
• Proficiency in technical and systems operations, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CTMS, Preclarus, and Clarity.
• Capacity to delegate and prioritize tasks and resources in a dynamic environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, along with effective presentation abilities.
• Extensive knowledge of therapeutic areas and clinical development guidelines and directives.
• Advanced understanding of cross-functional project management principles related to time, quality, and cost.
• Ability to lead, inspire, and coordinate cross-functional project teams.
• Excellent customer service skills, along with judgment, decision-making, critical thinking, analytical thinking, strategic thinking, negotiation skills, financial acumen, and cross-cultural awareness.
• Capability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Knowledge of compliance regarding organization policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP, regulatory requirements, and project-specific needs.
