Senior Project Manager, Diligence & Fund

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Direct physical due diligence initiatives for acquisitions, disposals, and significant capital investment prospects.

• Create and underwrite comprehensive value-add investment strategies for inter-company collaboration and Operator interaction.

• Perform site assessments to analyze the condition of physical assets and suggest value-add renovation scopes and Major CapEx needs.

• Collaborate with the Capital Team to identify which items slated for CapEx could or should be executed alongside Redevelopment.

• Formulate and justify capital expenditure assumptions used in acquisition underwriting and investment committee endorsements.

• Select and engage relevant designers, planners, engineers, architects, decorators, and other third-party consultants as necessary.

• Prioritize capital allocation across regional portfolios based on investment returns, asset requirements, strategic goals, and operational effects.

• Present and secure internal ownership approvals for the project, including market justification, unit interior and common area/amenity scope, costs, financial returns, and business rationale.

• Supervise and ensure the acquisition of all permits, external approvals, entitlements, and licenses required for project development.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Real Estate, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in project management, redevelopment, and construction, ideally within the senior housing or multi-family sector.

• A minimum of 7-10 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership position.

• Strong grasp of project management principles and practices, encompassing scope development, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
