Senior Project Manager, Clinical Trials

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee projects and carry out tasks in accordance with company SOPs and established regulatory standards.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on individual studies and certain sponsor portfolios.

• Take the lead on Cogstate’s intricate global clinical trial projects independently.

• Handle Clinical Trials projects across Start-Up, Conduct, or Close-Out phases (managing multiple projects simultaneously).

• Actively manage risks with assurance, showcasing strong leadership in guiding team members through obstacles.

• Participate in Investigator Meetings, ensuring Cogstate is effectively represented.

• Operate within an Agile setting with a dedicated Portfolio Team.

• Supervise resource allocation and financial aspects across a Portfolio of Projects.

• Prepare invoices for assigned projects in line with anticipated timelines and project advancements.

• Consistently maintain the change order process.

• Manage internal projects aimed at developing processes for the implementation of new technologies.

• Create operational deployment strategies for new systems, including training initiatives.

• Collaborate closely with Business Development and project teams to manage relationships and support proposals for key accounts.

• Evaluate reports on project hours and budget utilization, making necessary adjustments in partnership with Operations Line Managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, business, or technical field (psychology, nursing, biology, sociology, computer science, or engineering).

• Master’s degree preferred (science or business), although it is not a requirement.

• PMP Certification is preferred but not mandatory.

• Previous experience in a CRO is preferable.

• Prior experience in CNS is required.

• Over 7 years of Project Management experience in a Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or CRO setting.

• Supervisory or mentoring experience is preferred but not a necessity.

• Experience in Relationship Management.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Experience managing budgets.
