This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and support all project management initiatives as part of a dedicated team that assists top-tier law firms and corporations, effectively delivering comprehensive client services in a dynamic environment.
• Engage in insightful discussions and consultations with case teams regarding collections, data processing, data hosting, review services, and productions. Coordinate communications with relevant experts as necessary, including collections teams, document review managers, and consultants. Drive revenue by presenting services and teams that address critical client needs.
• Confidently facilitate calls with clients and counsel to foster trust in UnitedLex processes, recommendations, and deliverables. Proactively reach out to the case team to best address clients' needs and cultivate relationships for future opportunities. Provide transparent and consistent updates on each case status, including changes in scope, cost variations, delays, risks, and more.
• Respond to emails within 30 minutes during business hours and within 1 hour outside of standard business hours.
• Maintain continuous awareness of the activities on assigned cases and proactively prepare other teams for incoming work.
• Exhibit ownership and accountability for assigned projects and programs, propelling them forward, addressing issues proactively, and ensuring commitments are fulfilled.
• Collaborate with the Document Review Manager to deliver consolidated and consistent budgeting and reporting, ensuring communication is collaborative and centered around the client's needs rather than internal team interests.
• Prepare a project intake document and conduct an intake call with the case team, covering explicit determinations of timeline, budget, case team members, production, and review requirements.
• Keep the project tracker updated to accurately reflect the current status of processing work, hosted databases, and overall project progress.
• Conduct production anomaly checks on documents to be produced, including conflict coding, redactions, privilege, and family breaks. Complete final production deliverable quality control and ensure that at least two levels of quality checks have been performed and documented.
• Identify opportunities for enhancement and proactively present recommendations to your manager for improving processes, tools, and service delivery.
• Analyze active cases, collaborate with the Program Director (PD) and other Project Managers to assign a backup during absences, and communicate coverage plans to the client prior to leaving the office.
• Mentor and develop less experienced project managers.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with other teams and departments to collaboratively serve clients.
• Conduct quality checks and approve invoices promptly during each billing cycle.
• Maintain a billable utilization rate of 70% to 80%.
• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in eDiscovery and Litigation Support.
• Conceptual understanding of the options available in processing software and the ability to effectively communicate these options to clients.
• Experience with the Relativity platform and/or Everlaw platform.
• Proven experience in conducting Early Data Assessment, including consulting on search term refinement and utilizing analytics tools (e.g., concept clustering, textual near duplicate analysis, predictive coding).
• Proficiency as a Relativity Administrator, RCA, or holding an Everlaw Project Management Certification.
• Exceptional and proactive written, electronic, and verbal communication abilities.
• Outstanding client expectation management and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to establish rapport and credibility within cross-functional organizations and with external client stakeholders. Coordinate efforts with multicultural teams across multiple time zones.
