This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Execute the defined architecture and design principles and standards of Intuitive Health.
• Lead and collaborate with internal, external, and partner designers, as well as manage professional staff and Architectural and Engineering resources.
• Oversee the coordination of Project Architects’ work and harmonize multidisciplinary MEP and Structural tasks throughout project development.
• Engage in reviews by governing agencies to ensure code compliance.
• Develop conceptual drawings, site plans, and minor illustrations as necessary.
• Facilitate design work sessions during all phases of plan documentation.
• Upload and manage SD, DD, CD, permit-approved sets, RFIs, specifications, and submittal sheets in designated software platforms.
• Prepare meeting agendas and document minutes after design discussions.
• Monitor project financials, including budgets, costs, and changes.
• Manage Architecture & Design projects from Schematic Design to project opening.
• Provide bi-weekly status updates on milestones and tasks to partners and the operations team.
• Review, approve, and manage A&E proposals and project quotes.
• Conduct site visits as required.
• Coordinate submittal reviews, responses to RFIs, and verification of specifications.
• Monitor permit comments and coordinate the status of permits, along with anticipated approval dates.
• Facilitate the execution of construction documents with Architects, MEP, Civil, or HSP teams.
• Maintain organized project files for quotes, plans, submittals, and associated documents.
• Supervise the Design and CD schedule while addressing delays as they arise.
• Enhance relationships with internal and partner teams through outstanding project delivery.
• Carry out additional duties as required.
• Preferred knowledge of healthcare design standards, permitting processes, and construction coordination.
• Experience in supporting design and construction projects within healthcare facilities is preferred.
• Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with operational leaders, consultants, contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret architectural and construction documents.
• Familiarity with financial terminology and principles, including project budgeting, cost tracking, and fundamental financial analysis.
• Experience with Smartsheets, CAD/CAFM software, and project management platforms is preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the capability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 4–6 years of relevant experience in architectural, design, construction, or healthcare project management is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
• Strong proficiency in Revit is preferred.
• Experience in reviewing architectural and construction documents and supporting project implementation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at once.
• Capability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Willingness and ability to travel 15–25%.
