Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee intricate Linguistic Validation projects from start to successful completion.

• Independently manage several projects while adhering to deadlines, quality benchmarks, and profitability goals.

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring proactive communication throughout the project lifecycle.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure clarity on project scope, timelines, and deliverables.

• Track project progress, recognize risks, and escalate resource or quality issues as necessary.

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, trackers, status reports, and production records.

• Deliver final outputs to clients, ensuring quality and adherence to client expectations.

• Oversee project budgets, invoicing, change orders, and financial performance.

• Ensure that projects align with client KPIs and commercial goals.

• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and enhance delivery outcomes.

• Assist in business growth by identifying opportunities for account expansion and contributing to proposals.

• Promote process enhancements and support initiatives to boost localization maturity and operational efficiency.

• Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members.

• Ensure compliance with RWS production processes and project management best practices.

• Take charge of continuous professional development and contribute to the overall success of the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in project management or a related field.

• Proven experience managing multiple complex, deadline-oriented projects.

• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.

• Strong planning, organizational, and prioritization skills.

• Experience in managing project budgets, financial tracking, invoicing, and ensuring profitability.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.

• Familiarity with Linguistic Validation and localization project workflows.

• Understanding of project management methodologies and lifecycle management.

• Experience in maintaining project documentation, reporting, and KPI tracking.

• Commercial awareness with the capability to manage project risks and support revenue growth.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise project management systems.

• Experience with Translation Management Systems (TMS), CAT tools, and AI-assisted productivity tools.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities.

• Experience in mentoring or supporting junior team members.

• Degree in Project Management, Business, or equivalent experience (preferred).

• PMP certification (preferred).

• Fluency in one or more foreign languages (preferred).
