This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manages all facets of a client project from initiation to execution, collaborating across functions to ensure timely, budget-compliant, and scope-adherent project completion.
• Develops and sustains all documentation within the standard Origami PM toolkit.
• Constructs and oversees the project timeline.
• Regulates project scope, including the detection of scope creep and out-of-scope items.
• Organizes and leads the external kickoff meeting.
• Collaborates with the Manager of Professional Services to guarantee the necessary resources are assigned to the project.
• Works alongside the Project Lead to ensure that all deliverables are allocated to a team member.
• Schedules and leads status meetings with the client.
• Arranges and leads internal status meetings.
• Oversees the project implementation budget and associated financials, including invoicing, forecasting, and gross margin calculations.
• Maintains implementation-related data in tools as necessary.
• Aids the team in coordinating and scheduling both internal and external meetings.
• Prepares and delivers relevant client/project status reports, adapting content and presentation style for diverse audiences and stakeholders.
• Facilitates the documentation of crucial decisions, action items, approvals, and sign-offs.
• Logs hours worked in accordance with Origami's time entry guidelines.
• Manages the tracking, review, auditing, approval (when necessary), and reporting of implementation project hours.
• Ensures precise and timely entry and reporting of all team members' hours worked on assigned implementation projects.
• Oversees project scope management and supports the change control process in collaboration with Account Management as scope modifications or expansions occur.
• Identifies, manages, and escalates risks and issues through the leadership chain as appropriate.
• Communicates with the SDM and other leadership to provide status updates, request support, and highlight dependencies, challenges, and requirements.
• Serves as a mentor to less experienced Origami colleagues.
• Assists in the training and onboarding of new Origami team members.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related business field.
• Over 6 years of prior experience as a technical project manager.
• Required experience in managing system replacement and/or integration projects.
• Proven experience collaborating with business and technical executives to define and execute strategic roadmaps.
• Preferred experience in stakeholder and vendor management within a project setting.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficient in the advanced features of the Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience in the risk industry is preferred.
