This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Spearhead the creation of project plans, timelines, and budgets that align with client goals and business needs.
• Oversee the complete project lifecycle from initiation to deployment.
• Develop and manage project plans driven by dependencies, incorporating critical paths, ownership, and milestones.
• Track progress, pinpoint risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Handle project financials, scope, budgets, variances, and change management procedures.
• Provide tradeoff recommendations that consider timeline, cost, and feature delivery.
• Manage stakeholder expectations across Client Services, Product, and Technology divisions.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering and maintaining client relationships.
• Relay project status, risks, and issues to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead decision-making stakeholder meetings and deliver executive-ready presentations.
• Guide cross-functional project teams, promoting collaboration, communication, and accountability.
• Mentor and coach junior project managers and team members.
• Ensure that project deliverables align with client expectations and industry standards.
• Conduct project reviews and audits to ensure compliance with processes.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency improvements within the PMO.
• Facilitate lessons-learned sessions and contribute to project management methodologies, tools, and templates.
• 5–7 years of experience in customer-facing project management within a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
• Proven experience leading large-scale technical projects involving cross-functional teams, multiple workstreams, and shared resources.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• PMP certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience managing projects within a software development organization.
• Proficient in Waterfall, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
• Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with systems integration.
• Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure.
• Proficient in Jira, Workfront, and Microsoft Project.
• Experience in planning and resourcing projects using a Project and Portfolio Management solution.
• Ability to prioritize and adjust tasks across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Strong attention to detail with the capacity to track overlooked tasks.
