This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee and assist multiple projects and project managers throughout various development stages and across different engagements to achieve and surpass set goals, including timelines, quality, and budget constraints.
• Focus primarily on the specific requirements of the project, including those of clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Create project scopes and schedules for assigned tasks.
• Identify and address potential risks, logistical challenges, budget concerns, and scope issues related to projects.
• Proactively manage issues that arise related to projects across various accounts or engagements.
• Lead and document all weekly meetings related to projects.
• Coordinate and monitor all processes for vendor tendering and bidding.
• Maintain accurate and consistent project files and documentation.
• Manage subcontractor activities and the relocation of technical functions.
• Engage and negotiate with contractors and subcontractors.
• Prepare and update project status reports, process invoices, update tracking reports, and maintain files for due diligence and financial purposes.
• Exhibit a proactive approach to fulfilling client and project requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing all PDS technology as needed for assigned projects.
• Support the local PDS team in reaching adjusted gross margin (AGM) targets at both regional and national levels as set annually by the Executive Management Committee.
• Contribute to the training and development of JLL team members on company policies, methodologies, and practices.
• Adhere to all JLL policies and procedures, including but not limited to ethics and business conduct.
• Perform any other reasonable tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
• A minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience, or a combination of applicable work experience and education.
• Required experience in commercial real estate, architecture, or the construction industry.
• Capability to effectively understand all facets of construction projects, including budgeting and scheduling, to accurately assess project implications based on limited conceptual information.
• Must possess knowledge of the technical requirements necessary for corporate relocations.
• Ability to communicate successfully with architects, contractors, client representatives, and team members.
• Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.
• Must be capable of adapting and reprioritizing tasks while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
