Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary internal contact and operational collaborator for various projects.

• Coordinate with strategic services, creative services, technology services, operations, accounting, and administration.

• Independently lead projects and handle more intricate assignments along with a larger portfolio of business.

• Make informed decisions regarding project processes, timelines, budgets, and resources.

• Oversee the complete project development cycle and ensure quality at every stage.

• Prepare and submit materials for medical/legal review in accordance with client guidelines.

• Generate project status documents and provide updates to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Facilitate daily and weekly production meetings.

• Maintain project management systems, including FinancialForce, Ziflow, and CRM.

• Spearhead initiatives for process improvement.

• Set project milestones and develop detailed schedules.

• Create staffing plans and monitor project and campaign budgets.

• Lead monthly reconciliation meetings and generate client budget reports with finance support.

• Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.

• Manage relationships with vendors and agency partners, including timelines and deliverables.

• Coordinate project resources with the resourcing manager and prioritize work with other project managers.

• Review monthly staffing forecasts.

• Present capabilities and processes to both internal and external audiences.

• Cultivate relationships with development teams, vendors, agency partners, and clients.

• Provide training support and oversee an Assistant Project Manager, including bi-weekly one-on-one meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

• Experience in a pharmaceutical marketing agency is required; Agency of Record (AOR) experience is preferred.

• Bachelor's degree (BA) is necessary.

• Proven experience managing large, cross-functional teams across account services, creative, strategy, database, interactive, and print production.

• Experience in collaborating with multiple vendors and managing their timelines and requirements.

• Proficiency in using MS Project or SmartSheets.

• Advanced expertise in utilizing a project management financial platform.

• Strong Excel skills are essential.

• Demonstrated experience leading process improvement initiatives.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
