This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.
• Independently lead projects, potentially with support from an Assistant Project Manager.
• Oversee complex projects and handle a larger portfolio of business.
• Make critical decisions concerning project processes, timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Manage the complete project development lifecycle in accordance with business processes and quality standards.
• Prepare and submit materials for medical and legal review, adhering to client guidelines.
• Create project status documentation and provide both internal and external updates.
• Conduct daily and weekly production meetings.
• Maintain project management systems including FinancialForce, Ziflow, and CRM.
• Spearhead process improvement initiatives.
• Establish project milestones and formulate detailed project schedules.
• Ensure that deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
• Develop staffing plans and track project and campaign budgets on a weekly basis.
• Lead monthly internal reconciliation meetings and generate client budget reports.
• Identify and mitigate potential project risks.
• Manage relationships and deliverables from vendors and agency partners.
• Assess resource requirements and collaborate with resourcing managers and other project managers.
• Review monthly staffing projections.
• Present capabilities and processes to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Foster relationships with development teams, vendors, agency partners, and clients.
• Assist in training assistant project managers.
• Supervise an assistant project manager, including conducting bi-weekly one-on-one meetings.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical marketing agency is mandatory.
• Agency of Record (AOR) experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree (BA) is required.
• Experience in managing large cross-functional teams across account services, creative, strategy, database, interactive, and print production.
• Proven experience working with multiple vendors and managing their timelines and requirements.
• Proficient in MS Project or SmartSheets.
• Advanced knowledge of a project management financial platform is essential.
• Strong Excel skills are required.
• Demonstrated experience in leading process improvement initiatives.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
