This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee all facets of large to moderately complex projects within strategic initiatives, from project definition and intake through to transition into operational support.
• Propel project strategy and ensure alignment with broader business goals and client perspectives.
• Establish criteria for project success with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Lead the project intake process, encompassing scope, scheduling, and cost estimations.
• Define project goals, objectives, team roles, and responsibilities clearly.
• Manage one or more large-scale projects to ensure timely delivery, adherence to budget, and alignment with business objectives.
• Supervise daily and weekly team assignments while tracking progress against work plans.
• Identify project modifications and facilitate decisions from the change control board.
• Forecast project requirements, manage budgets, analyze discrepancies, and initiate corrective measures.
• Enhance project delivery efficiency, quality, and predictability using AI-driven tools and data insights.
• Prioritize multiple concurrent projects, monitor risks, and establish mitigation and contingency strategies.
• Determine resource needs and ensure adequate staffing for projects.
• Recognize stakeholders and meet their communication requirements.
• Facilitate communication throughout project phases and ensure accountability.
• Act as the primary liaison with the bank's project manager.
• Educate team members on project management principles, methods, processes, and tools.
• Stay updated on current project management knowledge and disseminate relevant information.
• Ensure project teams utilize IT-defined tools, standards, processes, and procedures.
• Significant experience in project management.
• Proven ability to lead both technical and non-technical resources.
• Experience overseeing large-scale projects with budgets exceeding $5 million.
• Global-scale experience is preferred.
• Experience with Tier 1 clients is preferred.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Agile certification such as CSM, ACP, or SAFe is preferred.
• Applicants must reside in Atlanta or the immediate surrounding areas.
• Candidates living in New York City or California will not be considered.
