This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the planning, execution, monitoring, and conclusion of intricate projects spanning business and technology domains.
• Create and manage project charters, stakeholder registries, communication plans, RAIDD logs, and comprehensive project plans.
• Establish project scope, objectives, success metrics, and deliverables in collaboration with business owners and functional leaders.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
• Propel project execution, adherence to schedules, resolution of issues, and overall delivery performance.
• Ensure project outcomes are in alignment with organizational priorities, PMO standards, and operational readiness criteria.
• Collaborate with business leaders, operational teams, technology teams, and external vendors.
• Lead project meetings, status reviews, steering discussions, and executive updates.
• Prepare and present reports on project health, milestone progress, risks, financial implications, and required decisions.
• Escalate issues and persuade stakeholders to overcome obstacles.
• Foster cross-functional relationships that encourage collaboration, accountability, and adoption of change.
• Advocate for PMO tools, templates, methodologies, and reporting practices.
• Coach project managers and offer insights on best practices.
• Contribute to the enhancement of PMO standards, dashboards, templates, and project intake or prioritization processes.
• Maintain project documentation, status reports, and dependency tracking for leadership review.
• Promote accountability, transparency, and excellence in delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or other pertinent education and experience as assessed by the company.
• Over 5 years of project management experience within a healthcare setting.
• Demonstrated capability to lead large cross-functional teams and manage complex initiatives.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
• Capacity to operate with adaptability and flexibility in an ambiguous environment.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Smartsheet and Jira.
• PMP Certification is preferred.
