This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan, +1 more state.
• Ensure timely delivery of all assigned projects, adhering to scope and budget constraints.
• Make daily decisions during project execution and effectively manage associated risks.
• Coordinate both internal resources and external vendors to ensure successful project execution.
• Develop and update cost estimates, budgets, schedules, identify potential issues and risks, and create work breakdown structures, among other tasks.
• Provide management with status reports as requested regarding assigned projects.
• Assist in the development of Project Management Training across various teams.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to monitor and track project progress.
• Aid in the creation of tools and templates for cost estimation, budgeting, scheduling, and work breakdown structures, among others.
• Ensure that project documentation is properly managed, organized, and stored throughout the entire project life cycle.
• Attend conferences and training sessions as needed to maintain expertise.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience managing projects in the construction or energy sectors is preferred.
• A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, accompanied by 8+ years of project management experience.
• A wide range of experience in executing civil, mechanical, electrical, and controls projects.
• Experience managing civil projects in the hydroelectric or renewable energy sectors is highly preferred, although not mandatory.
• Willingness to travel as necessary for project implementation and execution (approximately 30%).
• Strong relationship management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others to ensure successful project delivery.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Understanding of electrical safety principles and best practices.
