Senior Project Land Surveyor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Execute and validate intricate boundary analyses utilizing applicable legal concepts, statutes, and case law.

• Create highly accurate survey outputs, which include: ALTA/NSPS surveys, Records of Survey, Boundary and topographic surveys, short and long plats, subdivision maps, lot line adjustments, easement exhibits, and legal descriptions.

• Process and refine GPS and conventional survey data; conduct least-squares adjustments as necessary.

• Perform advanced COGO calculations, evaluate coordinate geometry, and execute geodetic analyses.

• Offer guidance and informal mentorship to Survey Technicians and junior survey team members.

• Address technical questions from clients and agencies as requested by project leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics Engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience in Land Surveying.

• 8-10+ years of relevant survey experience.

• Professional Land Surveyor License (LS) is preferred.

• Experience in Project Management is preferred.

• General proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, Adobe, Internet, Bluebeam, etc.

• Required proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
