This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.
• Engage in the planning, design, and implementation of control system projects, overseeing multiple initiatives from initial feasibility to commissioning and handover.
• Spearhead engineering initiatives to upgrade outdated control systems, enhancing PLCs, DCS, and instrumentation with more advanced and efficient technologies.
• Collaborate with vendors and third-party suppliers to procure hardware/software; supervise external contractors throughout installation and commissioning stages.
• Work closely with plant operators, electrical engineers, process engineers, and maintenance teams to ensure that control systems are optimally aligned with operational needs.
• Design and construct control system architectures and configure instrumentation (flow meters, pressure transmitters, temperature sensors) for both new and existing processes.
• Develop, configure, and sustain PLC and DCS platforms. Write and refine control logic using Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagrams.
• Guarantee the smooth integration of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and HMIs to facilitate comprehensive monitoring and control of plant processes.
