This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee and orchestrate all technical elements of the project, encompassing planning, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Formulate and implement system build plans that consider software architecture, information security, and hardware deployment.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to provide technical insights into the overall project timeline, budget, resource needs, and risk management strategies.
• Facilitate engineering workshops covering system design, data migration, business process assessments, testing, validation planning, and change management.
• Install and configure OSI Monarch advanced distribution management applications.
• Design and configure SCADA/GMS/EMS/ADMS/OMS systems tailored to meet the unique requirements of our clients.
• Deploy and integrate SCADA/GMS/EMS/ADMS/OMS systems with other hardware and software.
• Offer training and support to clients throughout and following the implementation phase.
• Collaborate with project teams and various stakeholders to guarantee successful project implementation.
• Conduct system and acceptance testing alongside end customers.
• Test and validate system configurations to ensure compliance with client specifications and industry standards, including NERC CIP.
• Create scripts and other solutions for integrating third-party systems.
• Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the implementation phase.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in the field and ensure systems are deployed in accordance with industry best practices.
• Travel to client locations and engage directly with customers to effectively deliver, test, and integrate systems.
• Contribute to proposals, work plans, budgets, and timelines for service opportunities.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study.
• A decade (10 years) of combined experience in project management and utility systems software implementation and consulting.
• Proven experience in engaging with clients to comprehend relationships and priorities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual abilities.
• Capacity to function as part of a team in organizing, leading, planning, and executing large-scale projects from initial vision to implementation.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adjust work efforts in alignment with client business objectives.
• Knowledge of the project integration lifecycle and methodologies.
• Outstanding problem-solving, written and verbal communication, and customer service skills.
• Proficient in leading and facilitating workshops covering all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Capability to work with new technologies and tools as necessitated by project requirements (MS Project, JIRA, OneNote).
• Ability to work independently and manage your workday efficiently.
• Experience in creating work estimates, staffing plans, and proposals for projects of varying scales and complexities.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% to customer project sites.
• Experience and capability to work on projects not directly related to ADMS/OMS with suitable training.
• Installation and configuration experience with OSI Monarch advanced distribution management applications, including Distribution Power Flow (DPF), Fault Location Isolation & Service Restoration (FLISR), and Volt/VAR Control & Optimization (VVC/VVO).
• Familiarity with GIS building tools and models.
• Experience in configuring Maven, Leitmotif, and eMAP.
