Industrial Process Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.

📋 Description

• Evaluate industrial and manufacturing processes to uncover opportunities for optimization and operational enhancements.

• Collaborate with customer engineering and operations teams during software implementation projects.

• Collect, analyze, and interpret operational and production data to aid in process optimization efforts.

• Convert customer operational needs into actionable process improvement suggestions.

• Assist in the deployment of industrial software and digital transformation initiatives.

• Create process documentation, workflows, and recommendations for best practices.

• Detect bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for enhancing production performance.

• Engage in process mapping, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.

• Track operational KPIs and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions.

• Work in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to achieve successful outcomes for customers.

• Facilitate customer workshops, process evaluations, and implementation tasks.

• Advocate for operational excellence through decisions informed by data.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a similar field.

• Proven experience in optimizing industrial or manufacturing processes via engineering, data analysis, or digital technologies.

• Strong analytical capabilities with the proficiency to interpret operational and production data.

• Knowledge of manufacturing operations and process industries.

• Experience in supporting continuous improvement projects.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage directly with customer engineering and operations teams.

• Strong problem-solving skills and critical-thinking capabilities.

• Comfortable working autonomously in a fully remote international setting.
