Kafka Engineer, IRS MBI Clearance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and maintain Kafka environments.

• Establish and oversee Kafka topics, producers, consumers, and connectors.

• Monitor system performance and address production challenges.

• Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to facilitate application integration.

• Execute upgrades, configuration modifications, and performance optimization.

• Adhere to IRS security protocols and change management procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience with Apache Kafka.

• In-depth knowledge of Kafka administration and troubleshooting techniques.

• Proficiency in Linux, Java, or Python.

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.

• Active IRS MBI clearance is mandatory.

• Prior experience with the IRS or federal agencies is advantageous.
