Tier 2 Networking Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Tier 2 Software Development Engineers (SDEs) are tasked with overseeing and managing the entire domain while comprehensively understanding all facets of the process.

• T2 SDEs provide technical support and assistance related to computer systems, hardware, and software for MITS customers and colleagues.

• The T2 SDE works collaboratively with other IT professionals in a remote Contact Center, supporting a diverse range of customer IT environments.

• Responsibilities include end-user support, requirement analysis, problem resolution, installation of hardware or software solutions, license tracking, asset management, maintenance, upgrades, and configuration adjustments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in the Managed IT Services industry as a Windows System Administrator, Network Administrator, or a similar IT Service Desk role in a dynamic help desk setting.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in an IT-related field and/or relevant industry-standard certifications, or an equivalent five (5) additional years of related experience can be considered in place of a degree.

• T2 SDE Networking Specialists should hold one of the following certifications: CCNA, Net+, or possess several years of relevant experience within this specialty, preferably in a Managed Service environment.

• Preferred certifications include Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104), AWS Solutions Architect Associate or AWS Cloud Practitioner, Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP) in Network Security, and Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA) or Palo Alto Networks Certified Cybersecurity Entry-Level Technician (PCCET).
