Senior Programmer Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary programmer for selected moderately complex studies.

• Collaborate with project team leaders and client representatives to evaluate and establish project objectives and timelines.

• Contribute to multidisciplinary project teams involved in clinical trials.

• Design, implement, maintain, and validate SAS programs.

• Transfer, integrate, summarize, and report data from various sources and systems.

• Produce and validate listings, tables, and figures.

• Manage and document tasks to ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.

• Enhance knowledge in programming, technology, clinical trials, and the pharmaceutical industry.

• Provide training and mentorship to junior team members.

• Assist in supporting departmental infrastructure, conferences, meetings, training materials, working practices, and SOPs.

• Aid in the bidding process as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• MS/MA degree in computer science, statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree in the same fields or equivalent formal academic/vocational qualification.

• At least 5 years of experience demonstrating the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities for the role.

• Strong understanding of one or more programming languages.

• Proficient in the English language.

• Solid grasp of relational database structures and complex data systems.

• Capable of independently organizing and managing multiple assignments with demanding timelines.

• Ability to train and mentor other team members.

• Competence in effectively capturing biostatistical metrics.

• Ability to conduct quality control reviews for statistical programming.

• Willingness to work in an office environment and travel occasionally to domestic and international site locations.
