Senior Programmer Analyst – AI Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Utilize Agile, Waterfall, or similar application lifecycle methodologies to create innovative solutions.

• Take full ownership of AI-driven software solutions from problem identification and stakeholder interviews to design, development, and deployment.

• Collaborate closely with internal business teams to gain insights into workflows, identify pain points, and explore automation and optimization opportunities.

• Design, build, and manage end-to-end cloud-native systems featuring Python backends, Angular or React frontends, alongside secure and reliable infrastructure.

• Partner with the Data Science team to seamlessly integrate models, optimization algorithms, and AI agents into production systems.

• Balance rapid experimentation with production-quality engineering practices in an industrial setting.

• Conduct systems analysis and design; document, develop, implement, and maintain complex applications with minimal supervision.

• Ensure all systems and applications comply with departmental standards, controls, and audit trails, and are thoroughly tested prior to production deployment.

• Identify and document discrepancies between current and future business processes.

• Analyze and translate user requirements into technical designs and development projects.

• Create technical architecture and code for databases, scripts, and user interfaces.

• Support Business Analysts and Programmers in pinpointing fields for data conversion.

• Lead project teams and end users in validating data and ensuring quality activities.

• Monitor and assist project teams and end users during user acceptance testing.

• Provide continuous application technical support and engage in application training sessions.

• Deliver documentation, technical specifications, and infrastructure requirements for development projects.

• Keep abreast of industry trends, standards, and technologies; research, recommend, and implement new technologies.

• Conduct feasibility analyses of alternative solutions considering technical, infrastructural, organizational, and economic aspects.

• Execute project management tasks including task identification, effort and duration estimation, dependencies, sequencing, critical path analysis, resource assignment, conflict resolution, and problem-solving.

• Report to the Manager of IT Business Applications; no direct or indirect reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred Bachelor's or Associate degree with over 7 years of relevant experience.

• Proven track record as a Full Stack Developer.

• Strong proficiency in cloud infrastructure and designing cloud-native systems.

• Practical experience with Angular and/or React and Azure-based programming.

• Experience in building or deploying AI-enabled or data-intensive systems is a plus.

• Background in developing internal enterprise platforms or tools is advantageous.

• Demonstrated capability to manage projects from inception to completion.

• Proficient in developing Azure Logic Apps, Function Apps, Storage, and static web app programming, as well as ADFS and Azure development.

• Strong experience in Python development.

• Familiarity with ASP.Net4, VB.Net, C#.Net, ADO.Net, Entity Framework, MFC, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, XML, AJAX, PL/SQL, SQL, ASP.Net MVC, Web Services, API Programming, Azure, and client-side programming.

• Working experience with GitHub and Azure DevOps, along with an AI-first SDLC process.

• Experience in report building using .Net and complex SQL concepts with Oracle PL/SQL and MSSQL query languages.

• Competence in unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, test case writing, documentation, application troubleshooting, requirements analysis, estimation, and technical support.

• Willingness to travel up to 15% for international/domestic assignments, including overnight stays.
