This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovakia.
• Take ownership of Precision for Medicine's global R&D tax credit program along with related innovation incentive initiatives.
• Formulate and implement annual filing strategies and compliance plans across various participating countries.
• Recognize qualifying R&D activities and optimize eligible claims.
• Oversee documentation, financial support, technical narratives, and deliverables from advisors.
• Manage relationships with external tax advisors, consultants, auditors, and government entities.
• Spearhead responses to inquiries, audits, and reviews from tax authorities.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes impacting incentives.
• Uphold governance, documentation standards, controls, and ensure audit readiness.
• Assess new country opportunities for R&D tax incentives, grants, and funding for innovation.
• Develop business cases for expansion and scalable global processes.
• Collaborate with regional finance and operations leaders to launch and oversee programs.
• Provide strategic recommendations to executive leadership regarding incentive opportunities and risks.
• Create KPI frameworks, reporting, financial models, forecasts, and analyses for benefit realization.
• Work alongside data and analytics teams to automate reporting and enhance data quality.
• Design executive dashboards and presentations.
• Assist with cross-functional analytics, reporting, master data, process improvement, automation, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, HR, Clinical Operations, and Business Operations teams.
• Support self-service reporting and governance frameworks for KPIs.
• Contribute to the transformation efforts within Finance and Analytics.
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in life sciences, CRO, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or professional services sectors.
• Over 7 years of experience in R&D tax credits, government incentives, grants, finance, analytics, consulting, or related fields.
• Proven experience managing intricate global programs with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong skills in financial analysis, business analysis, and project management.
• Experience collaborating with international business teams and external advisors.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to convey complex technical and financial concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Preferred qualifications include an MBA, CPA, MST, PMP, PhD, or other equivalent advanced credentials.
• Preferred experience with international R&D incentive programs, grants, and innovation funding mechanisms.
• Preferred familiarity with Power BI, data visualization, and business intelligence platforms.
• Preferred experience supporting data governance, analytics, or business transformation initiatives.
