This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee capture, proposal, and support execution activities for the Operations and Maintenance Business Line across various LAUKOA Portfolio Companies.

• Identify and pursue both strategic and opportunistic initiatives.

• Collaborate with Strategy, Operations, Business Development, Procurement, Proposal, and other Business Unit teams to prepare compelling proposals and estimates.

• Formulate operational strategies for post-award execution and facilitate the transition to Operations teams.

• Cultivate client relationships, acquire new clients, and achieve business KPI targets.

• Create and monitor annual strategic plans encompassing sales, operations, finance, and HR objectives.

• Oversee sales forecasts and indirect costs in line with set targets.

• Coordinate proposal creation, negotiate amendments, and manage contract modifications as necessary.

• Generate client leads through research, cold outreach, qualification, and customer service efforts.

• Produce sales documentation, action plans, proposals, presentations, and internal administrative paperwork.

• Assess and qualify enterprise contract opportunities while preparing Gate Reviews.

• Analyze market trends and competitor activities, evaluate contract risks, and devise winning strategies.

• Participate in site visits and foster relationships with subcontractors and existing personnel.

• Confirm client satisfaction and project performance to uncover new opportunities.

• Draft responses to RFIs and Sources Sought Notices.

• Manage and create high-quality proposals for large, complex Federal/DoD opportunities.

• Analyze RFP requirements, develop compliance cross-references, and coordinate proposal teams.

• Write, proofread, edit, format, quality-check, and produce final proposals.

• Maintain proposal and marketing databases.

• Establish and supervise Program objectives, policies, procedures, and performance metrics.

• Oversee professional development plans and HR-related personnel documentation as needed.

• Assist Project Teams with staffing assignments.

• Lead, mentor, coach, and develop team members.

• Facilitate post-award transitions, document contractual obligations and execution assumptions, and support kickoff and initial mobilization efforts.

• Execute other related tasks as assigned by management.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience.

• Experience working with or for the federal government is highly preferred.

• Desired experience in federal operations and maintenance.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of proposal writing, estimating, business development, capture management, and operations.

• Exceptional leadership capabilities.

• Strategic thinker.

• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proactive and results-oriented mindset.

• Highly organized with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

• Strong proficiency in email management and Microsoft Office applications.

• Ability to engage and motivate diverse personality types.

• Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Must pass a federal government Public Trust investigation.

• Ability to obtain a Department of Defense or other federal agency security clearance up to the Top Secret level is highly desired.

• Willingness to travel.
