This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.
• Take ownership of Precision's worldwide R&D tax credit program and associated innovation incentive initiatives.
• Formulate and implement annual filing strategies and compliance plans across all participating countries.
• Recognize qualifying R&D activities and optimize eligible claims.
• Oversee documentation, financial support, technical narratives, and deliverables from advisors.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors, consultants, auditors, and government agencies.
• Lead the responses to reviews, audits, and information requests from tax authorities.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes impacting incentives.
• Uphold governance, documentation standards, controls, and maintain audit readiness.
• Explore and assess new country opportunities for R&D tax incentives, grants, and innovation funding.
• Develop business cases for expansion into new jurisdictions.
• Create scalable processes, templates, and governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with regional finance and operational leaders to initiate and manage programs.
• Provide strategic advice to executive leadership.
• Establish KPI frameworks and reporting mechanisms to evaluate program effectiveness and financial impact.
• Work with data and analytics teams to automate reporting and enhance data quality.
• Conduct financial modeling, forecasting, and benefit realization analysis.
• Design executive-level dashboards and presentations.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and operational efficiency.
• Assist in cross-functional analytics, reporting, master data management, process improvement, automation, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, HR, Clinical Operations, and Business Operations teams.
• Facilitate self-service reporting and KPI governance frameworks.
• Contribute to efforts in Finance and Analytics transformation.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in life sciences, CRO, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or professional services sectors.
• Over 7 years of experience in R&D tax credits, government incentives, grants, finance, analytics, consulting, or related fields.
• Proven experience managing complex global programs with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong financial analysis, business analysis, and project management abilities.
• Experience collaborating with international business teams and external advisors.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Capability to convey complex technical and financial concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Preferred/optional: MBA, CPA, MST, PMP, PhD, or equivalent advanced qualification.
• Preferred/optional: experience with international R&D incentive programs, grants, and innovation funding.
• Preferred/optional: familiarity with Power BI, data visualization, and business intelligence platforms.
• Preferred/optional: experience in data governance, analytics, or business transformation.
• Strategic thinking, business acumen, and strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to influence without direct authority and effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.
