This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Take ownership of Precision for Medicine's global R&D tax credit program along with related innovation incentive initiatives.
• Formulate and implement annual filing strategies and compliance plans across all participating countries.
• Recognize qualifying R&D activities to maximize eligible claims.
• Oversee documentation, financial support, technical narratives, and deliverables from advisors.
• Manage relationships with external tax advisors, consultants, auditors, and governmental agencies.
• Lead the responses to reviews, audits, and information requests from tax authorities.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes that impact incentives.
• Uphold governance, documentation standards, controls, and readiness for audits.
• Assess opportunities in new countries for R&D tax incentives, grants, and innovation funding.
• Create business cases for expansion into new jurisdictions.
• Develop scalable processes, templates, and governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with regional finance and operational leaders to initiate and manage programs.
• Offer strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
• Establish KPI frameworks and reporting mechanisms.
• Work alongside data and analytics teams to automate reporting and enhance data quality.
• Conduct financial modeling, forecasting, and benefit realization analysis.
• Design dashboards and presentations for executive-level audiences.
• Discover opportunities for process automation and operational efficiency.
• Assist in cross-functional analytics, reporting, master data management, process improvement, automation, and operational excellence projects.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, HR, Clinical Operations, and Business Operations teams.
• Facilitate self-service reporting and governance frameworks for KPIs.
• Contribute to the transformation initiatives in Finance and Analytics.
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 7 years of experience in R&D tax credits, government incentives, grants, finance, analytics, consulting, or related fields.
• Background in life sciences, CRO, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or professional services environments.
• Proven experience in managing complex global programs involving numerous stakeholders.
• Strong skills in financial analysis, business analysis, and project management.
• Experience collaborating with international business teams and external advisors.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Capability to explain complex technical and financial concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Preferred qualifications include an MBA, CPA, MST, PMP, PhD, or an equivalent advanced credential.
• Preferred: familiarity with international R&D incentive programs, grants, and mechanisms for innovation funding.
• Preferred: experience with Power BI, data visualization, and business intelligence platforms.
• Preferred: involvement in supporting data governance, analytics, or business transformation initiatives.
